20

While reading the archives of a friend’s personal blog, I came across a post she wrote two years ago when she turned twenty. I remember reading this two years ago when I was seventeen (going on eighteen) and wanting to write my own list.

Here are a few things I’ve learned in my twenty years of life…

When I’m talking in front of people I will cry 99% of the time.

I may or may not have a mild case of narcolepsy.

I don’t like wearing make-up…right now.

I enjoy being an introvert.

The south will always have a big place in my heart.

I have thick hair, who cares.

God is my constant, while everything else changes.

When doing the things you love, no one else’s opinion matters.

There is such thing as a “silent leader.”

Surround yourself with positive and fun people, you will become who you hang out with.

Salty, not sweet.

I’m extremely competitive.

Friends will always be my favorite television show.

I’ve learned not to take myself so seriously.

I’ve learned much much more, and I am very expectant to see what the year twenty has.
