Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

I had a pretty fantastic summer and I hate to see it go. If it was going to India, going to the lake, or starting my online etsy shop…I’d say Summer 2013 treated me very well and it is one I’ll never forget.

Here is a peek at some of my favorite moments from summer.

On my way to India, I got to spend six hours in Frankfurt, Germany. It was fun to get out of the airport for a little bit and get a Germany stamp on my passport. I hope to go back some day to spend more than a few hours.

I spent two weeks in India on a missions trip with my college. It was truly a eye opening/life changing experience. You can read all about it and see all my photos here, here & here.

I spent lots of time back home in Alabama at the beach. Thankfully I got tovisit twice this summer.

I spent some friday mornings outside at a free yoga class, even though it was hot it was a nice way to relax.

A huge moment for me was moving in with Whitney & Erin. They are two of the sweetest and cutest girls around. They are so encouraging and fun to be around. I’m looking forward to see what this next year holds.

I made my own platform bed, easily my favorite project of the summer.

I visited the happiest place on earth.

Finally, I opened my etsy shop. This happened at the very end of summer but it could possibly be one of my favorite parts. I learned that some of the decisions you make on a whim can be the best decisions.

This summer was one to remember, I feel like summer is always a big season of growth for me..and this one was no exception. I’m kicking off fall strong with a women’s conference, my first trip to California and a girls camping trip.

What were your favorite moments of summer, and what part of fall are you most looking forward to?
