I made these reusable hand warmers last year when I didn’t have a platform like a blog to share with anyone, so now I am more than excited to be sharing these with you today! These only take about 10-15 minutes and can be reused over and over. You just pop them in the microwave for 45 seconds on your way out the door and your hands will stay warm! I just tuck them away in my purse after I am finished and reuse them the next day.
1.Materials needed: Thick fabric (like fleece, wool, or just thick cotton), About 1/2 cup rice, needle and thread 2. Cut two rectangles from fabric. I cut mine to 4 X 6 inches each. 3. Fold in half hot dog style and stitch, then stitch one side leaving an opening for the rice. 4. Fill with rice, leaving room to stitch the end. 5. Place in microwave for 10 seconds and stay warm:)
A big thank you to my friend Hailey for taking pictures with me:)
It isn’t quite time to pull out my hand warmers here in Missouri but it’s better to be prepared! These can be a great gift as well as an everyday necessity when you are trying to warm up fast!
I hope you have a wonderful Saturday, I will be spending mine shopping at the local farmer’s market with my friend Erin from One Fine Pine then to a wedding!
Remember to stay warm and make your own reusable hand warmers!
