Spring Sleeves | DIY

I think most of us are anticipating spring’s arrival. I was inspired by Free People’s March catalog and this Free People jacketto whip out this diy.

Materials: Jean or any jacket, large scarf or fabric, scissors, pins & sewing machine.

TIP: I thrifted my jacket and found this scarf at Forever21, there was plenty fabric leftover to use on other projects.

1. Cut off sleeves of jacket. 2. Fold over scarf and lay out sleeve, trace around it with washable marker or chalk. 3. Cut out sleeve and do this again for the next sleeve. 4. Turn jacket inside out and pin sleeve to arm hole. pin all the way down arm of scarf sleeve and sew where pinned. Turn inside out and wear!

I think this will be my go-to light jacket for the spring and summer (I’ve already worn it a few times!). What are you looking forward to most about spring?
